Hold a food drive at your home, business, school or faith organization
Food drives are vital to our ability to distribute 4.5 million pounds of food each year for people in need, and a great way to engage your team, faith community, school or friends and family in ending hunger.
Due to COVID-19, our Food Drive process has changed. Please read below for updates:
- Specific Items: We are currently accepting only the following items through food drives: pasta, pasta sauce (unbreakable packaging please), juice, granola bars, protein bars and breakfast cereal. These are items that are more difficult or expensive for us to acquire in bulk during COVID-19. Additionally we ask that you collect only one or two items as we have limited staff to sort the food donations.
- Boxes: Please plan to collect food in your own boxes. You can even decorate your food drive boxes by printing out WSFB posters or designing your own.
- Drop Offs: Plan to drop off your boxes of food at the end of your drive. Our staff is busier than ever delivering food to our member agencies and is unable to pick up any food collected from food drives.
- Food Safety: Confirm that none of the items you plan to drop off are broken or already open. We are moving more food than ever through our warehouse for hungry families and individuals, so please make sure that the boxes are ready to go to our member agencies as is.
Schedule your food drive by filling out the form below. Our staff will be in touch to confirm the dates and go over any relevant details. Contact Aviva Kraus to set up a custom Virtual Food Drive and multiply your impact.
