For over two decades, our community of supporters, volunteers, and friends have gathered in spirit rather than in person to support our vital hunger relief work. Our Phantom Dinner tradition allows us to apply the cost of holding a gala dinner to our mission to provide nutritious food for our neighbors in need. This year, thanks to a pool of anonymous donors, every dollar donated through April 30th will be matched up to $100,000. This means instead of providing food for 4 nutritious meals, every dollar raised turns into 8 nutritious meals for local families and individuals who struggle with food insecurity.

This year’s Phantom Dinner showcases the creative, healthy, and delicious dishes our clients prepare with the fresh produce and pantry staples Westside Food Bank provides to community food programs week in and week out. More than 90% of Westside Food Bank’s food gets into the kitchens of local residents via 38 food pantries that distribute free groceries including the five direct-service mobile pantries operated by our staff.
