Summer Food Programs
Westside Food Bank’s Summer Food Program for Children replaces meals that children usually receive during the school year. This year, the program will run from May 28th through August 20th, 2026. A full list of partners offering the program will be listed shortly. As part of the program, participants will receive a nonperishable food box along with an optional fresh fruit bag.
In addition to our regular food distributions listed below, you may qualify for the following programs.
SUN Bucks is an EBT program for families with children. Check your mail and visit the CDSS website for more information.
SUN Meals are available to anyone 18 and under. Visit the US Department of Agriculture website and find a location near you.
The California Department of Education CA Meals for Kids App uses your location to find nearby summer meal programs through your mobile device. Visit their website and download the app.
The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation & Parks will offer free lunches to those 18 and under, starting June 12th through August 1st. Visit their website for more information and to find a location near you.
